WHO WE ARE

Leaves & Lager is produced by The Dakota James Foundation. The Dakota James Foundation does not have any paid employees- everyone is a volunteer. Every penny we raise with your help provides resources to support our community projects. We are looking for approximately 50 volunteers in areas of parking, registration, gate keeper, beer garden attendant, information or more.

WHERE TO REPORT

The event is held at the at the Frederick Fairgrounds located at 797 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD. Enter through Main Gate located on Patrick Street. Arrive at the Volunteer Check-In desk at least 15 minutes prior to your assigned shift. You will need time to park (parking is the same as patrons of the event), locate the Volunteer Check-In desk (in Building 9), get your T-shirt and get to your assigned area. Don’t forget to allow time for traffic in the area. Volunteers are provided food and drink during their shift in our Volunteer Support Area.

A FEW RULES

You must wear your cool volunteer T-shirt and name badge while you’re volunteering. By law, you may not drink alcohol while wearing your T-shirt and volunteering. The restrooms are available for you to change your shirt.
